Day 1: After an early breakfast, our expert guide will pick you up and transfer you to the bus station for the scenic bus ride from Cusco to Puno. This full-day adventure includes 5 stops: first, the Andahuaylillas Church, known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Andes". Next, visit Raqchi, the Temple of Wiracocha with its mysterious adobe walls. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Sicuani. Then, cross the La Raya Pass (over 4,300 masl), the border between Cusco and Puno. Stop at the Pucara Museum to see pre-Columbian artifacts. Arrive in Puno around 17:00, where our representative will transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight: Puno
Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to the harbor to board a motorboat on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Sail to the fascinating Uros floating islands, made of Totora reeds, learn about the local lifestyle, and ride a traditional reed boat. Continue to Taquile Island, famous for its skilled weavers, and appreciate their beautiful handmade works. Enjoy a traditional lunch with a host family. After an incredible day, return to Puno and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight: Puno
Day 3: After breakfast, according to your flight time, we will pick you up from the hotel and provide a transfer to Juliaca (JUL) airport, located one hour away from Puno, for your flight to Lima.
Important note: You can extend your vacation by bus to La Paz, Bolivia (home of the Salar de Uyuni) or to Arequipa, Peru (home of the Colca Canyon).
